Family Life Merit Badge will start on January 23rd. This is an Eagle required merit badge so it's very important that scouts not miss any of the sessions done at the meetings. This merit badge takes 3 months to complete. Heather Cruz will be our MB Counselor.
"The family is the basic unit of society and is important to both individuals and communities. The world is rapidly changing, making today's society much more complex than ever before. As Scouts earn this merit badge, they will realize why it is important to know more about family life and how to strengthen their families."

Klondike Derby 2014 is fast approaching! Mark your calendar now for Feb. 14th-16th at Camp Crooked Creek. The Klondike Derby is an annual event held during February and is based on the heritage of the Klondike Gold Rush. BSA units have been running Klondike derbies since 1949. The event varies by district, but the typical Klondike Derby consists of 10 stations where patrols/units must test their Scoutcraft skills and their leadership abilities, earning points towards a total score. The unit must transport their gear on a homemade sled and pulled by the Scouts.
